Cookies are small digital signature files that are stored by your web browser that allow your preferences to be recorded when visiting the website. Also they may be used to track your return visits to the website.

Google, as a third party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads.

Google’s use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to visitors based on their visit to sites they visit on the Internet.

Payment

Methods: Payment is by major credit card or with Paypal. If you don’t already have a Paypal account, it’s easy to set up – just go to www.paypal.com and follow the simple instructions. Paypal is a safe, secure way to purchase on the internet and offers its own buyer protection. Once you have a Paypal account, you can use it on many other shopping websites as well.

Taxes

Maryland residents are required by State law to pay a 6% sales tax.

Shipping

Deadlines: Our normal time to get the package in the mail is within 3 business days after the transaction is completed. If this is not possible, we will contact you to let you know when the package will be shipped. Standard shipping is by USPS Priority Mail.

Holidays: From Thanksgiving to the end of the holiday season, we offer the option of rush shipping. If you wish to use this option, please let us know through Etsy conversation that you want to upgrade your shipping before you make your transaction. We will reserve your item while we get you the rush shipping information and revised total cost. If you accept the increased amount, you may proceed with your transaction.

Methods:  USPS Priority Mail

Upgrades: The buyer may opt to upgrade the shipping method, at additional cost to the buyer.

Insurance

Shipping costs do not include insurance. If you wish to have your purchase insured during shipping, please let us know through Etsy conversation that you want to purchase insurance before you make your transaction. We will reserve your item while we determine the revised total cost.

Refunds and Exchanges

Dissatisfaction with item:

In the event the buyer receives a product that is significantly different from the original listing, the buyer should first contact the seller. Jardin & Casa follows Etsy’s best practices. If we are unable to resolve the situation, then for certain eligible transactions, the buyer may file a report with Etsy within a reasonable time frame. Etsy encourages buyers to submit fair, honest feedback.

• The seller must accurately describe the item in the listing.

• The seller must comply with the transaction agreement or according to the terms in the seller’s Policies.

• If the payment method in the transaction was credit card via direct checkout, then the transaction is eligible for a “not as described” case on Etsy.

• Once a “not as described” case has been opened by the buyer on Etsy, the buyer and/or seller must respond to the case to close it.

o If the buyer and seller cannot reach a resolution, the case may be escalated for review and resolution by Etsy.

o If a case is escalated to Etsy, both buyer and seller may be asked to provide additional information (for example: photographs of the item) to help resolve the dispute.

Damage:

Each item is packaged carefully. Jardin & Casa does not accept responsibility for damage during shipment. The buyer may request that the package be insured for its full value, and needs to pay the additional amount required before the package is shipped. (Also see Insurance)

Returns:

All sales are final and all items non-returnable.
